Necker Island–also known as a little piece of heaven–is an island in the Caribbean that British businessman Richard Branson bought in the late 1970s. Three years later, he turned it into a resort of lavishness and absolute indulgence for the small fortune of $10 million dollars. The island is usually rented out entirely by celebrities of all sorts for the ultimate luxurious getaway. Rumor has it that it’s an all-time favorite for big stars like Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, Mel Gibson and Kate Winslet.
