Euroluce the lighting show held every alternate year is set to commence next week during the international furniture fair in Milan At this year’s show, Cristalleries de St.-Louis will introduce three lighting collections by distinguished women designers: Kiki van Eijk, Paola Navone and Ionna Vautrin.
Kiki van Eijk’s design Matrice, which is French for Matrix is an illuminating piece of art whose inspiration sprung from the thousands of old molds she discovered in the factory’s warehouse and the design takes after the shape of one those molds. The Matrice is available in three styles- as a sconce, table lamp and floor lamp. Well lit by LED’s, it is available in a copper or nickel frame with a matte or bright finish.
The table lamp, shown in copper, stands 15 ½ inches tall and is available for $14,200 Cristalleries de St.-Louis is the oldest glass manufacturer in France, but it is taking a 21st century approach to new products.
