Paris Fashion Week, spring/summer 2011 runway shows has left us many hairstyle trends to glamorize our next spring. From a naïve girlie braid hairstyle look to a more grungy slicked hair look, hairstyles were all about style and creativity at Paris Fashion Week. Read on to know some of the most scintillating and heart hitting hairstyle trends from Paris Fashion Week.
Braids Hairstyle
The runway shows at Paris Fashion Week Sprin/Summer 2011 Collection were laden with braids, getting all sorts of twists. Valentino created a romantic look with its structural braids but softened and loosened with wispy flyaways encircling faces. At Alexander McQueen models looked like medieval princesses in their messy but intricately woven pigtails hair ‘dos. There is something very feminine and innocent about this style but with a perfect blend of flirty make-up, it can amazingly turn you into a sexy naught angelic.
I-just-don’t-care Hair
A string of models were seen in the ‘right-out-of-the-bed’ hairstyle look at the fashion shows of Dries Van Noten, Paul Hanlon and Eugene Souleiman. They created looks that looked totally natural. At Dries Van Noten, hairstylist pulled back and let it dilute loosely, creating a natural environment. Eugene Souleiman avoided product entirely, wanting to create the idea that the models threw their hair back organically. James Pecis created loose, messy braids along the sides of models’ faces for a ‘beachy look with a natural wave to it.’
Slick and Shimmery Hair
