Milan Fashion Week has finally come to an end but has left marvelous and eye popping beauty trends for next year. With all the top Italian design houses like Prada, Giorgio Armani and Gucci unveiled their spring masterpieces, makeup artists and hairstylists put their creativity on display as well with statuesque fashion models who donned the designs in noteworthy looks.
From eye popping lip colors to gel-loaded super slick ’dos to dusty smoky eyes to fresh faces, we have some gorgeous make-up trends for this year. Read on for the details.
Dramatic Lips
The beauty teams at Moschino and Missoni played out with classic make-up adage by perfecting looks that were all about fresh faces and dramatic lips, from eye popping cherry fresh color to dark velvety maroon, lips were all pouting with heart-hitting bold colors that can make you standout in a crowd.
Gel Overload
Ultra slicked hairstyles have flooded the fall runways, with heavily, gel hairstyles that range from wet, grunge layers to product waves to sleek updos. Models‘ strands were smoothed up and down with the styling agent at Bottega Veneta, Marni and Max Mara.
Dusky, Smoky Eyes
The colors and shades of the season are a constant source of inspiration for makeup artists and fashion designers these days. At the fall 2010 shows of Roberto Cavalli and Marni, models’ lids were dusted with the earthy shades of moss green, brown and gray and highlighted with a subtle gold shimmer. Strong brows helped to make these smoky eyes the main attraction.
Hippie Hair
Natural, long flowing waves were among the most ravishing in spring 2011 runways of Alberta Ferretti and Roberto Cavalli. The natural bohemian hair look complemented the easiness on the runway. The look is dam easy to achieve, place a generous amount of the gel into your hands and work into damp hair, applying it by scrunching it in sections concentrating at the dryer, scrunching sections towards the scalp and lightly twist pieces away from the face.
