Despite Rumors of Alber Elbaz taking over at Chanel in 2010 after its head honcho decides to retire, Karl Lagerfeld has dropped in the name of Haider Ackermann as his current top choice for the position.
“I have a contract for life so it all depends on who I would like to hand it to. At the moment I’d say Haider Ackermann.” Karl said.
However, Karl also said Haider can’t really seem like a Chanel person, on the other hand Alber is one of the favorites at Lanvin and Lanvin wouldn’t be same without him.
