Valentino was not satisfied with dress code at The Met ball which took place a few weeks back.
Anna Wintour and Marc Jacobs were insistent on showcasing knee length short and chic – but Valentino had something else in mind and rejected the style. The designer without hesitation expressed his views on the scenario to The Observer saying that he feels that the girls look ugly in these dresses.
Shaking his head sideways in disappointment and grumbling "no, no, no" ‘he further explained that when he saw the pictures of the Metropolitan gala evening held in New York last week, he was amazed to see something so ugly. Nothing like this he had ever seen before.
"All the girls have their legs out with the most terrible proportions" said displeased Valentino.
Well, that’s what one of the world’s best designer feels.
