Vanity Fair has issued the list of top 40 moneymakers in Hollywood in its March issue. Vanity Fair released this list after considering top notch producers, directors, and actors in film. They short listed them after researching their deal terms and box office and DVD earnings to come up with their estimated earnings.
The top slot was taken by Michael Bay, director of “Transformers”. Michael Bay made an estimated $125 million in 2009. He made more money than Steven Spielberg and James Cameron. The last seat was taken by Brad Pitt who made an estimated $13.5 million in ’09. There are a few young women on the list as well, including Emma Watson and Sarah Jessica Parker.
