Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren have agreed on the most expensive divorce settlement in the history.
According to settlement, Elin had to agree that she will never discuss Tiger’s extramarital affairs. She will retain full custody of the couple’s two children, 3 year old Sam and 1 year old Charlie. Tiger will get visitations rights, but he cannot bring any girlfriends around the children.
However, this settlement would wipe out Woods’ previously estimated fortune of $1 billion. Tiger wood is tied for 75th place in a field of 81 players at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational after recording a 72 in the first round and a 74 in the second round. A score of 146 after two rounds would mean Woods would not make the weekend cut, but because the Bridgestone Invitational is a World Golf Championship event, there is no cut after the first two rounds of play. Woods needs to at least finish between 50th and 57th, or better, this week to be one of the top 100 to advance to next week’s Deutsche Bank Championship, the second of four playoff events. Each carries a $7.5 million purse, and there’s a $35 million bonus pool up for grabs.
