After releasing her new song and video for “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” Selena Gomez gave a candid interview to Ryan Seacrest admitting that the song is about Justin – she even revealed the status of their relationship!
Selena Gomez, 22, poured her heart out about Justin Bieber, 20, to On Air radio host, Ryan Secrest, shortly after releasing her new song, “The Heart Wants What It Want” on Nov. 6. The singer finally came clean about what the whole world has suspected – she is still deeply in love with Justin, the man who has broken her heart over and over. She bravely confessed to Ryan, that even today after all she and Justin have been through, she will always “support him.”
After talking about her new song, “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” which she openly admitted is about Justin, Ryan asked Selena, “Is the chapter over?” She responded, “I support him [Justin]. I think I always will. I’m upset when he’s upset, I’m happy when he’s happy. I don’t want anything bad ever happen to him. It hurts me. That’s all.”
After all of their ups and downs and the pain she has suffered because of Justin, Selena still wants the best for him – now that’s true love! Selena absolutely did not say that she and Justin are done for good, which means that she is still hopeful that the two could work it out and be happy once again. What a heartbreaking situation – Selena sings in her new song, “There’s a million reasons why I should give you up,” yet she still cant “let go.”
In fact, Selena responds to Ryan’s question about marriage confirming that she still wants to, “Yeah of course. I want a big ranch in Texas.” Selena even admitted that her and Justin are still speaking. “He has heard [the song] and he has seen the video.” So how does Justin actually feel about her new emotional video and song for “The Heart Wants What It Wants?”
“He thought it was beautiful. I think it was really hard. I think he was a little jealous of the video guy at first,” she joked.
