ROMAN TIMES: A slew of young actors turned out at the Chateau Marmont penthouse in West Hollywood Wednesday night to celebrate the debut of Roman Luxe, Roman & Sunstone’s capsule jewelry collection designed by fashion blogger Karla Deras. Among the stylish guests shopping and sipping cocktails while listening to DJ Binki Shapiro were Mena Suvari, Monet Mazur, Jamie Chung, Katie Cassidy, Jessica Stroup, Beth Behrs and Arielle Kebbel. “Jewelry, drinks and girlfriends…it’s the perfect combination,” said Mazur, who has a click-to-buy blog on Opensky.com.
Others came to support cohost Revolve Clothing, which recently picked up the line. “I’m new to Roman Luxe, but obsessed with Revolve Clothing. I knew anything they carry would be great,” said Suvari, whose next film, “You May Not Kiss the Bride” with Rob Schneider and Katharine McPhee, is due out next month.
The fall Collection, Power to the Python, features chunky gold pieces with snakeskin embellishments priced between $40 and $150 retail. “I love how rock ’n’ roll the chain is and I love the chunky nature of it,” said Jessica Chastain’s BFF Jess Weixler, who will appear in the upcoming film “Look of Love” alongside Annette Bening and Ed Harris. Deras will continue to create 12 to 15 pieces a season. Of the next collection, she said, “We’re working with stones, gems and color, so it is a lot fancier and less earthy.”
