After the dramatic split between singing stars Robin Thicke and Paula Patton, The devastated Husband yet again made an avid attempt to win his wife back by singing her a song at the Bet Awards 2014. The song was called “Forever Love” which Robin dedicated to his estranged wife Paula in public exclaiming that he was sorry and that he misses her dearly. “Forever Love” is a slow and emotional number from his previous album “Paula” which of course was dedicated to his wife as well.
This really isn’t the first time the audience has seen him pour his heart out in public for Paula Patton. The couple has had a nine years of successful happy married life after which they were caught in a scandal including their masseuse Jasmine who was reported to be having an affair with Robin Thicke.
Paula felt humiliated by Robin’s attitude towards the incident as he denied the claims initially and seemed pretty laid back on the situation. The split up was arranged on a mutual basis four months ago after which the world has seen Paula moving on but Robin keeps thrashing his emotional moods in public to grab Paula’s attention.
Robin sung his heart out, bursting in tears at the end of the Ballad singing “You can lean on me any time, baby, for anything you want and need. Yeah, see, I don’t need any reason, memory, or a season. Every day I will believe that you and I are meant to be, you are my forever love”. After the performance finished, an old picture of him and his ex-wife Paula Patton appeared behind Robin and his piano with Paula’s name written on the screen. Critics say that Robin needs to chill out a bit on his public declaration for Paula as it certainly isn’t working for her.
Paula has been seen unmoved by any of his performances in the past. The gossip news may have caught the world’s attention but has repeatedly failed to conquer Patton’s. Interestingly, Robin’s love sickness is getting pretty worse seeing his previous appearances like “Get her Back” that he performed at the BillBoard Music Awards in May.
Many have stated it to be a little creepy now seeing the video of the song where a copied version of Paula is caressing the singer while he is bleeding. So much for emotional drama for both the singers! Despite Clear indications from Paula in “Blurred Lines” and “too little too late”, the Canadian-American singer can’t seem to be grasping the picture. Well we bid him good luck and wish to see less love sickness and more genuine singles from the star.
