MEN ONLY: Ralph Lauren is about to open its first men’s flagship in Asia, a nearly 10,000-square-foot store in Hong Kong’s Princes Building. The store, set to open Friday, carries a selection of the brand’s top-tier men’s wear collections and accessories, with dedicated areas for Purple Label custom suits and Black Label. The store also offers made-to-order footwear and accessories and a watch salon selling the brand’s timepieces.
The exterior facade features a backlit glass mural of an equestrian-themed painting by French artist Octave Denis Victor Guillonnet. The artwork, titled “Bridle Path at Hyde Park,” is part of Ralph Lauren’s private art collection.
To commemorate the opening, Ralph Lauren is launching a line of limited-edition Ralph Lauren Equestrian Collection bags, exclusive to the store. Drawing on the tradition of artisanal saddle making, the line includes a messenger bag, a cross-body bag, a portfolio bag and travel items.
