Madison Beer is opening up about her close friendship with Justin and Hailey Bieber, and it’s giving fans a sweet peek behind the scenes of their long-standing connection.

In a new interview with Cosmopolitan for the digital cover story, the 26-year-old singer gushed about the bond she shares with the famous couple, describing it as something really special and rooted in years of history. “I love [Justin] and Hailey [Bieber] very much,” she said warmly, reported PEOPLE.

She recalled a recent moment the trio shared that put their journey into perspective. “I was with them recently and we were like, ‘How special that we’ve known each other for so long,’” Madison said, clearly cherishing the kind of friendship that’s lasted well beyond their rise to fame.

Their relationship, it turns out, goes way back — long before marriage, fame, and skincare empires. “I’ve known Hailey since I was 10, and I’ve known Justin since I was 12,” she revealed. Now, years later, she added, “We’re still in each other’s lives and now they’re married with a baby.” That mix of nostalgia and excitement about where they all are now hit an emotional note for the singer.

In the same interview, Madison also touched on the comparisons she faced early in her career, when she was dubbed the “female Justin Bieber” — a label that had its roots in who discovered her. “The reason it was a thing was because Scooter had signed me and obviously Scooter had signed Justin,” she explained. “Justin had posted a cover and I had posted a cover, so it felt synchronized.”

But she’s quick to point out that Bieber was still just a teenager himself at the time, going through his own rollercoaster ride of growing up in the spotlight. “Justin was also only a teenager when I got signed — he hadn’t even experienced his adult life yet. He’s been through so much, too,” she added, acknowledging how far they’ve all come.

What stands out most is the genuine affection and shared history Madison has with the Biebers. It’s the kind of friendship that’s less about fame and more about growing up side by side, weathering the ups and downs, and staying connected through it all.
