One of the top leading English designers Luella Bartley is busy these days in establishing her own company and there are also rumors in the air that she is ending her more than six years business terms with the brand’s global licensee Club 21.
Regis Rimbert becomes the label’s first president in the summer of 2008, with the move which makes the things better. The marked changes include re-branding strategies, quality upgrades and long-term business solutions. These changes are aimed to protect the brand in the critical economic times; and to be in the part of healthy competition.
Luella Bartley is actually taking actions to maintain control on her label and the interesting thing is that Club 21 representatives have so far refused to comment.
Besides all the doubts and rumors about the future of the label, the brand is tremendously going with a turnover just short of ten million pounds last year.
