In the wake of its name change earlier this year, Paris-based luxury conglomerate Kering has launched a digital magazine named “K” published in both English and French.

The first issue went live on Oct. 7 at kering.com/en/magazine and includes a feature on Olivier Saillard, director of the fashion museum at the Galliera Palace, a Q&A with Pierre Bouissou, chief executive officer of Kering-owned jeweler Boucheron, and an essay by the skateboarder Remy Stratton.

K has a “very editorial” approach with lifestyle features not necessarily limited to news stories about the group, a Kering spokeswoman told WWD.

Its content is produced both internally and by uncredited external contributors. In the “Welcome” section of the site, a trailer displays a long series of names ending in K — Ashton K, Calvin K and Grace K being some examples — and ends with the tagline, “There is a new K in town.”

The second issue, slated to be posted Oct. 14, will include an interview with Franca Sozzani, editor in chief of Vogue Italia, which recently launched an internship program with Kering.
