It’s been a rough time for the lads in One Direction. With all the problems they have been having, it seemed like they were possibly headed towards a break-up. But that’s one direction Harry Styles, 21, won’t let the band take. In a HollywoodLife, we’ve learned how amid all the controversies and scandals, Harry’s not letting his bandmates throw in the towel.
“One guy who has been a rock during this stormy time is Harry. He’s really keeping the guys all together,” an insider tells Hollywoodlife Yes, while the band deals with its “big boy problems,” the insider notes that Harry is the one member whose working the hardest to keep it all together.
“Zayn has his issues and he’s dealing with them. Louis is struggling emotionally. Liam and Niall have created kind of their own clique. But Harry, is the heart of the band and he’s keeping them from falling apart,” the insider claims. “First off Harry is just a great guy who all the guys like being around. Second he’s a good friend to all of them and really listens to their problems.”
During these trials, Harry continues to be a source of emotional support for his band members. He’s also helping them stay focused on why they’re a band in the first place, talking about creating new music.
“Harry is very focused on the success of the band. He’s constantly writing songs and talking to the guys about the direction of their music. He wants them to take more control of it on their next album,” the source says. Hopefully, One Direction will last long enough for another album. And if they do, they’ll have to thank Harry for trying his hardest to help the band see another day.
Unfortunately, not everyone shares Harry’s perspective. In fact, Wendy O. Williams said that 1D should kick Zayn out for good, adding that “If you can do five-part harmony, it’s just as easy to do four-part harmony. I say kick this guy out of the group because now that’s more money for the rest of us.”
