David Beckham has been attacked by an Italian television reporter, who squeezed his groin to see whether the contents matched up to his Armani poster campaign. The posters, in which the AC Milan and England player models tight-fitting underpants, leave little to the imagination.
Beckham was giving an impromptu interview outside a hotel in Milan when Elena Di Cioccio, wearing rubber gloves, leant down and gave him a squeeze between the legs. Pursued by security guards, she then dashed down the street yelling “E’ piccolo, Beckham” (He is small Beckham).
The player had just been telling a reporter how kindly he’d been treated by the prople of Milan when Di Cioccio, the presenter of a satirical series called The Hyena, struck. As Beckham left in his car scowling, she shouted: “You’ve taken us for a ride! How could you, David?”
