Luxurious table settings, exotic long forgotten menus were all forgotten in an instant when people focused on Chelsea Clinton saying ‘I do’ for Marc Mezvinsky in an exquisite Vera Wang creation on her perfect wedding day.
The only daughter of Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton looked like a blooming fairy in her mesmerizingly traditional yet amazingly stylish full skirted, strapless bustier for no one manipulates tradition more beautifully then Vera Wang.
In Chelsea’s case her wedding gown was the next star of the evening for it was a magnificent creation in silk tulle and laser cut organza with flawlessly designed crisscross bodice draping and abundantly swirled and tiered skirt with a final touch of a crystal embroidered sash. Chelsea’s unadorned veil looked more sensual than girlish, while her shoes, open-toe platforms that looked to be satin, added a touch of retro.
Chelsea looked extremely gorgeous in her simple yet elegant diamond earrings featuring two seven-stone flowers and a tennis bracelet centered with a similar flower.
The bride’s elegant hair up-do was said to have been done by Isabelle Goetz, who also did Hillary Clinton’s tresses.
Well this is not enough for detail for such an exquisite and enchanting wedding of the year. The maid of the honor was Chelsea’s longtime friend Nicole Davidson Fox and Clinton and Mezvinsky’s good friend Christopher Bailey of Burberry suited him up, and did the honors with the shirts and ties for Bill Clinton and the groomsmen. While Mezvinsky turned to two of his brothers, Andrew and Vu Pham, to be his best men. The exotic menu of the royal ceremony included farm fresh salad, risotto, beef short ribs and grilled fish and an amazing multitier cake.
Everyone seemed genuinely happy for Chelsea and Marc who are now off on a two week plus honeymoon to an undisclosed location after their perfect wedding which is estimated to cost from $ 1 million up to $ 5million.
