Amy Winehouse is the model of her own debut collection for UK label Fred Perry, which is now available for sale in all standalone Fred Perry boutiques world as well as online.
The 17 pieces capsule collection for women, which hit shelves on October 25, includes ready-to-wear, belts and clutches.
Winehouse has always been considered a style icon with her vintage pin-up clothes, trademark beehive hairstyle and exaggerated kohl-lined eyes. The singer’s debut collection strongly reflects her personal style. Expect a predominantly black and pink palette, checkered print and 1950s-inspired pieces.
While talking about her collection Winehouse said, "The collection I’ve done is so classic, because their style and my style are pretty much the same. Fred Perry is my be all and end all. I’ve always loved it, always worn it, and it feels like a living dream."
Key pieces in the collection include Fred Perry iconic twin-tipped M12 Polo shirt, Harrington jacket and jumper dress, all redesigned with a twist of Winehouse’s fashion aesthetics.
Sizes run from a women’s 6 (UK) to 16 (UK). Price points range from £55 (€62.50) for a polo tee to £275 (€312.57) for a trench coat.
